1. What is Artist Armor?
Artist Armor is an online platform specifically designed to provide creative artists from all disciplines with a secure environment to protect, collaborate, and promote their creative work to others.
It is our intention to not only have the most secure platform for creatives to showcase their work, but we will continue to release new features and upgrades as technology changes and evolves.
2. How does ArtistArmor.com differ from Portfolio sites?
Artist Armor sets itself aside from 'portfolio' sites because we think of the creative artist first. Firstly, It is Artists Armor’s mandate NOT to use any of the work from its creators for self-promotion, advertising or sale unless authorized by the original creator and they're paid for their work. Secondly, it's spearheaded by people who are either artists themselves or recognize the importance that art contributes to the health and well-being of society and people.
2. How does ArtistArmor.com protect my artwork?
Artist Armor sets itself aside from other 'portfolio sites because it thinks of the creative artist first. The platform offers tools and features aimed at safeguarding artists' creations, ensuring that their work remains protected while facilitating collaboration, promotion, and sale. 3. Who can use ArtistArmor.com?
ArtistArmor.com is intended for creatives seeking a secure platform to showcase, collaborate and sell their work and for the people who want to patronize or just enjoy great artwork. Right now the platform is only available to ages 18+.
4. Is there a fee to join ArtistArmor.com?
Yes and No. Yes, if you want to showcase your work and sell it in the marketplace. No, if you are a casual observer who wants to enjoy the creative art. There is one caveat though, if you contact the seller for any reason, even to purchase their wares, you must have your ID verified for everyone's protection.
5. Can I collaborate with other artists on the platform?
Yes, ArtistArmor.com facilitates collaboration among artists, providing tools to work together securely.
6. Right now there are only four types of creative profiles. Are you expanding?
Yes. Our initial launch has four different types of profiles, writer, artist, musician and actor. This is to set the stage for everything that would fall under that particular category. For example, The Artist category will expand to Artist/Designer and included gaming, SPFX, architecture, clothing designers, etc. The idea is represent as many disciplines as possible and make Artist Armor an all encompassing creative network.
7. I understand the Basic, and Premiere memberships, but what is a Professional?
One of the ways we are going to be expanding is offering businesses who represent several artists or performers to create a roster for their clientele. The second way is for a producer putting together a project, like a video game, and wants to collect their team in one place - 3D Modelers, voice actors, writers, SPFX, compositors, etc.
