6. Copyright Watermark: A screen of a copyright notice that includes the name of the artist and the year they created it.
Artist Armor is pleased to announce that we have created The 7 Points of Security File Viewer. A leading edge technology solution for those that use the digital space to buy and sell and promote themselves. We have a unique patent pending process that encrypts and stores your work on our servers.

1. ARTIST ARMOR SHIELD WATERMARK
-
You can add a small, semi-transparent AA watermark. It's placed in a hard-to-crop area without ruining the composition.
-
By showing the artwork has originated from Artist Armor, the thief will know that a proper chain of title has been proven and they will be identified as the thief.
-
It is totally up to you to include the shield watermark, to activate it, click on the image in your file library and select OWNER SETTINGS.
2. DISABLE RIGHT-CLICK + SAVE (ON WEBSITES)
-
Right-click saving has been disabled and you cannot use the download feature on your browser.
-
This doesn’t stop all theft (screenshots exist), but adds complications when trying to utilize the art. Oftentimes that extra make-work step itself is enough to deter thieves.
3. POST LOW-RESOLUTION IMAGES ONLINE
-
Make sure your preview image is uploaded at 72 dpi images at reduced size (e.g., 1000px or less). and upload a full resolution file for the premium file. The full resolution art product isn’t revealed until a purchase is made.
-
This makes it harder to print or use commercially.
4. AUDIT TRAIL
-
By engaging through our system, each interaction is tracked and documented to show the interaction, intention and purpose of the sale. This is important because an impartial third party has documented this, and neither party can edit or rescind a comment like you can on several social media sites.
-
This is paramount for use in litigation should the need arise.
5. CHUNKING
-
Instead of sending your entire image to a browser in one go, we break it into tiny, unreadable pieces—think of it like cutting a photo into dozens of puzzle pieces. These chunks are then carefully reassembled using secure code that only works in your browser window. To anyone else—even someone poking around in developer tools—these fragments are meaningless on their own.
-
To view the content, you must request secure access from the owner and you will have a 2 hour window to view the file in the viewer. The download button remains active to accept the file offline.
6. COPYRIGHT NOTICE
-
Each upload will display your copyright notice with your name. Example: `©2025 Your Name. All Rights Reserved.`
-
This reinforces your rights and deters misuse and screen grabbing.

7. METADATA
-
Creator info (IPTC/XMP metadata) is embedded in the image file. This is information is placed in your file outside of Artist Armor, and is kept when. Be mindful, that some thieves can strip metadata, but it helps in disputes. To learn more about IPTC visit https://iptc.org/
